なお、〈When＋do/does ＋主語＋～?〉で、「主語はいつ～しますか？」と尋ねる表現もあります。例えば、When do you use this program?「あなたはいつこのプログラムを使いますか？」のようになります。

- take ～outは「～を連れ出す／誘う」という意味。ちなみに、ask ～outだと「～をデートに誘う」という意味になります。例えば、He finally asked me out!「やっと彼がデートに誘ってくれたの！」のように使います。
- prettyは「まあまあ」「そこそこ」という意味の副詞。従って、That’s pretty recent.は「まあまあ最近じゃないか」のような訳になります。
