be able toは「～ができる」という『可能』と『能力』を表します。キーフレーズのShe’s able to speak several languages.は『能力』です。また、I’m able to join a meeting tomorrow.「私は明日の打ち合わせに参加できます」は『可能』を表します。なお、be able toはcanに置き換えることができます。

「ジェームズの奥さんは、いくつも外国語が話せるんだよ」というホセの言葉に、ケンはびっくり。
さらには、「英語も君より上手だよ」というホセ。
ああ、うるさいなぁもう！

Jose : She’s over there speaking to the Taiwanese guests.	ホセ : 奥さんなら向こうで台湾からのお客さまと話してるよ
Jose : She’s fluent in Chinese.	ホセ : 彼女中国語がペラペラなんだ。
Ken : Wow. Does she speak English?	ケン : すごいね、英語は話せるの？
Jose : She’s able to speak several languages.	ホセ : いくつもの外国語ができるんだ。
Jose : Her English is better than yours!	ホセ : 英語もきみより上手だぜ！
Ken : You like teasing me, don’t you?	ケン : ぼくをからかうのが好きなんだね。

get ～on boardは「（アイデアなどを）～に同意させる」「（チームやプロジェクトなどに）～を参加させる」という意味。getはbringに置き換えることができます。
I’ll see what I can do.のseeは「調べてみる」「確かめてみる」という意味です。相手から何かを頼まれた際、確約はできないけれどもやるだけやってみるという気持ちを伝えるときに使います。「何ができるかちょっと調べてみます」「できるだけやってみます」などと訳すことができます。I’ll seeはLet me seeに置き換えることができます。
