Today's Point
今日のポイント〈by+動作主〉を省略できるのは、①動作主が明らか、②動作主がわからない（あるいは、特定する必要がない）、③動作主が一般の人、の場合です。キーフレーズも省略されていますね。
なお、受け身（受動態）の否定形は、〈（主語）+be動詞+not +過去分詞〉になります。
財布を盗まれたと思ったケンは、まずはクレジットカード会社に電話して、カードを無効にしてもらいました。
続いて、警察にも連絡しました。そうしたら「あなたの財布がバスでみつかりました」だって。
なんだ、バスに忘れてきただけだったんだ…。
まあ、一安心だね、ケン。

- board of directorsは「取締役会」、quality assuranceは「品質保証」。なお、QC=quality control「品質管理」、inspection「検品」、PDI=pre-delivery inspection「出荷前検査」も覚えておくといいでしょう。
- Well, I can’t wait until it’s released in the Philippines.「フィリピンで発売されるのが待てない！」に対する回答は、I can’t wait, either.「私も待てない」なので、それを短くしたMe, either.が正しいのですが、ここではMe, tooをあえて使っています。 これは、I can't wait.がポジティブな気持ちを伝えるときに使うので、Me, tooと答える方が直感的で自然に聞こえるからです。ちなみに、Me, either.はMe, neither.に置き換えることができます。
