〈if ～〉は、「もし～なら」という意味の『条件』を表します。〈if + 主語+動詞〉は、文前半の、後半のいずれにも置くことができます。〈if + 主語+動詞〉を前半に置く場合は、if ～の最後にコンマを付けます。キーフレーズは、If there’s anything you don’t understand, please let me know.になります。

海外で暮らすには、「銀行口座」が必要ですよね。
銀行口座を開設したいときは、英語でなんて言えばいいのでしょうか？

Ken : Yes. I have a passport.	ケン : はい、パスポートがあります。
Bank Teller : That’s perfect.	銀行員 : 完璧です。
Bank Teller : You’ll need to fill out this application form.	銀行員 : こちらの申込書にご記入ください。
Ken : If you don’t mind, may I borrow your pen?	ケン : よろしければペンをお借りできますか？
Bank Teller : Of course. Here you go.	銀行員 : もちろんです、どうぞ。。
Bank Teller : You can keep that one.	銀行員 : 差し上げますよ。

feel free to～は「遠慮なく～してください」「自由に～してください」という意味。これを用いると、とても親切な印象を相手に与えることができます。また、don’t hesitate to～「遠慮せずに～する」に置き換えることができます。ただし、don’tは否定語。前向きな内容はできるだけ否定語を使わず肯定文で表す方がよいとし、最近ではfeel free toの方を好む傾向があります。
