「継続」の概念を図にすると、下記のとおりとなります。
- “I’ve lived here for almost 10 years.”のように、”for”「～の間」、あるいは、”since”「～以来」、”always”「いつも」などの『期間』を表す語とともに、通常、用います。例えば、“I’ve known her since I was 6 years old.”「私は６歳のころからずっと彼女を知っています」のようになります。
