“This warehouse has a capacity of almost 10,000 tons.” 「この倉庫は、ほぼ1万トンの在庫収容能力を持っています」のように、人や動物以外の「無生物」が主語になる表現があります。そして、”have”には「（ものが）持っている」という意味があります。もう少し日本語らしく、「この倉庫は、ほぼ1万トンの在庫収容能力があります」と訳してもいいでしょう。
