adviser 〈“I am here to～.”〉は、「私は～するためにここにいます→～で伺いました」という、『理由や目的』を伝える決まった表現です。訪問の場面だけでなく、プレゼンなどでも使うことができます。

Laura : Hi, you must be Ken. ローラ : ケンさんですね。
Ken : Nice to finally meet you, Laura. ケン : ようやく、お会いできて嬉しいです、ローラ。
Laura : Nice to meet you, too.
Did you have trouble finding the office?		 ローラ : こちらこそ。
オフィスを探すのは難しかったですか？
Ken : No, your directions were clear.
But the traffic was very bad today.		 ケン : いいえ。いただいた案内は判りやすかったです。
ですが、今日は渋滞が酷かったです。
Laura : I see.
Should we get started?		 ローラ : そうですか。
始めましょうか？
Ken : Sure.
Today, I am here to introduce our latest model.		 ケン : はい。
本日は、弊社の最新モデルをご紹介するために伺いました。
Laura : That sounds interesting! ローラ : 興味ありますよ！

ワンポイント・アドバイス
adviser ”I'm here to ～.”の他、訪問の『理由や目的』を述べるためによく使う表現に、“I would like to ～.”があります。

例：

“I would like to introduce our latest model.” 「弊社の最新モデルをご紹介したいのですが。」
adviser ところで、日本では会うと同時に名刺交換を行いますが、英語圏では、通常、握手をし挨拶をしたあとに行います。あるいは、打ち合わせなどが終わった最後に、連絡先を知らせる意図で名刺を渡します。訪問した側から先に名刺を渡すのが基本です。そして、日本とは違って両手でうやうやしく渡さず、片手で渡すのが一般的です。
adviser “Did you have trouble finding the office?” の”office”は、「オフィス」以外にcompany「会社」の意味もあります。
