いよいよ、スティーブとローラに新製品のプレゼンテーションを行なう日がやってきました。メインプレゼンターはケンです。 まずは、「弊社の新製品をご紹介する機会をありがとうございます」と、お礼を述べます。さあケン、これまでに勉強した多くの英語表現を駆使して、プレゼンテーションを成功させよう！

Unit 46〜50では、プレゼンテーションに役立つ英語表現を学習します。
adviserUnit 46〜50では、プレゼンテーションでよく使う決まった表現を中心に学習をしていきます。少し長いフレーズも出てきますが、製品・サービス名や、その特長の部分を変えていくだけで、すぐに使えますので、活用していきましょう。
adviserプレゼンテーションの流れは、下記のとおりです。
「導入」Introduction（イントロダクション）
↓
「本論」Body（ボディ）

↓
「結論」Conclusion（コンクルージョン）
↓
adviser「導入」から「結論」までの一通りの流れを、4つのユニットでご紹介するため、「今日のストーリー」は通常よりも少し長くなっています。すべての表現を覚えるのではなく、まずプレゼンテーション全体の流れを把握しましょう。
adviser今日は、Introductionの英語表現を学習します。プレゼンテーションは、第一声で印象が大体決まってしまいます。（比較的）大きな声で、普段よりも高めのトーンで話しましょう。

ワンポイント・アドバイス
adviser 冒頭で、自分のプレゼンテーションを聞くために参加してくれた人たちに感謝の意を表しましょう。Unit 34で学習した“Thank you for ～.”が使えます。
adviser お礼のあいさつの後には、自己紹介をしましょう。Unit 1〜5で学習した表現が使えます。
adviser 日本では、プレゼンテーションの発表者を「プレゼンテーター」と言いますが、これは和製英語です。正しくは“presenter（プレゼンター）”です。
adviser 今回のUnitのダイアローグに出てくる“Sure.”ではトムが快諾していることがわかりますが、“Okay”を用いると、より思わしくない状況であることの場合が多いので注意が必要です。例えば、“Tom, would you go first?” 「トム、最初に発言されますか？」—“Okay. I’m afraid we have so many problems.”「はい。申し上げにくいことですが、私たちは多くの問題を抱えています」 のようになります。
adviser また、 “Sure.”は状況によって「承知しました」以外の意味にも使われます。以下、参考にしてください。
“Thank you.” 「ありがとう」
“Sure.” 「どういたしまして」
“Are you interested in the musical?” 「そのミュージカルに興味ある？」
“Sure.” 「どういたしまして」
