「接待」は、“client entertainment”といいます。動詞の“entertain”は、「もてなす」「楽しませる」という意味ですので、まさにお客さまを楽しませることが「接待」ですね。
“I am / We are very glad you could make it.”という表現は、「あなたが、都合をつけて来てくれてとても嬉しいです」という意味で、忙しい中わざわざ来てもらったことへの感謝を表す定番表現です。 “make it”は「都合をつける」「出席する」という意味です。

“Thank you ～.”の後に”We really appreciate it.”「本当に感謝しています」と、”appreciate”を使った表現を加えることがあります。”appreciate”は「感謝する」という意味で、”thank”よりも丁寧でフォーマルです。
“That’s a mouthful.” は「それは長くて言いにくい言葉」という意味ですが、人の名前に対して使うのは失礼ですので気を付けましょう。
